# Get instrument settlement

> Read the final settlement price for an exact instrument symbol, including terminated instruments. Requires a bearer token with read:marketdata scope; no x-participant-id header is needed. Returns 200 with stats absent when the newest record is not a final EVENT_TIER_1 settlement, and 404 for an unknown symbol. Later reads can reflect corrections.
