We offer two different product types depending on whether the sport commonly has ties:ATC (Athletic Tie Contract) for sports with ties. For sports where ties are expected (e.g., EPL, MLS, UCL), we use the ATC product which offers three separate instruments: Team A wins, Team B wins, or Draw. Each outcome is a distinct tradable instrument.AEC (Athletic Event Contract) for sports without ties. For sports where ties are not expected (e.g., NBA, NFL, CBB, CFB, NHL), we use the AEC product which is a binary outcome (Team A wins or Team B wins). In the case of a tie or draw, the instrument will settle at $0.50 per instrument.

If the event is postponed, delayed, or rescheduled, the settlement date will be amended to the rescheduled date. If the rescheduled date is not within two weeks of the originally scheduled date, the instrument will settle at last-traded prices. If the event is rescheduled to an earlier date than originally scheduled, the settlement date will be the rescheduled date.Our Markets Automation tool runs on SportsDataIO data, which categorizes leagues as “daily” or “weekly” based on their schedules. For a daily sport (e.g., CBB, MLB, NHL, NBA), when a game is moved from one day to the next, it is treated as canceled and a new GameID is created with the new date. For a weekly sport (e.g., NFL), a new GameID is only created if the rescheduled game does not fall within the same game week.

Buying the instrument is a bet that the long participant will win; selling is a bet that they will not.ATC (Athletic Tie Contract) for sports with ties (e.g., EPL, MLS, UCL). Three separate instruments are created for a single event: Team A wins, Team B wins, and Draw. These are mutually exclusive outcomes — exactly one will settle to $1.00 and the others to $0.00. The result is determined at full time (e.g., in the case of soccer, 90 minutes plus stoppage time).
